Payment
Orders for merchandise viewed through our E-commerce site can be made on-line and payment made in the form of credit cards with Visa or MasterCard logo. We accept the following major credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
Off-line orders may be printed and sent by mail or fax together with payment. Your goods will be dispatched as soon as possible. For mail order we also accept checks and money orders up to the value of your order along with Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council issued Girl Scout Cookie Dough, Camp Bucks and Store Credit (policy must be followed). Make these items payable to Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council. Call us for further details.
We sell gift certificates. However, we do not currently accept these as payment in our online shop.
Order Confirmation
You will be notified by e-mail as soon as we receive your order. Please ensure that you enter your e-mail address on the order form. If we have any queries regarding your order, we will contact you via e-mail or telephone.
Goods Out of Stock
If you place an order and the goods are out of stock, we will inform you ASAP via e-mail or telephone. Please ensure that you submit your correct e-mail and telephone details on the order form. If your order contains multiple items, we can either wait for the out-of-stock item to arrive and ship everything together, or ship the order separately.
Item Description
Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council takes great care with the descriptions of the products as they appear online. The limitations of broadcasting may mean a slight variation. Every reasonable care has been taken to ensure that the descriptions are accurate. However, specifications are subject to change and Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council cannot be held responsible for discrepancies, either real or perceived.
Prices
The prices quoted are those valid at the time of production. Due to circumstances beyond our control, prices may have to be altered up or down. All prices shown are cash prices. All products shown in this service are subject to availability.
Canceling or Altering Orders
If you have any questions or changes to your order, call us at (713) 292-0247 or 1 (800) 392-4340, ext. 1247 or e-mail us at gssjcshop@sjgs.org. You can cancel or alter your order at any time prior to its dispatch. Altered orders may be subject to a small delay as the order is repackaged, etc. Please have your order details ready when phoning us.
Shipping
We make every effort to ship in-stock items approximately 2 business days after receiving your order. For details about special shipping methods, see the Shipping Information chart below. We do our best to process items as soon as they become available. It may take a matter of days or several weeks. Our primary Shipping Carrier is United Parcel Service (UPS). A physical address is required. P.O. Box addresses are not accepted. Shipping costs are calculated as shown in the table below:

Back-ordered Items
We process and ship back-ordered items as soon as they return to stock. You'll be charged for shipping one time, upfront for the entire order.
Returns
All returned merchandise must be in saleable condition, with original tags and packaging. Goods listed in our Special Offers section, Clearance section, or dated items are not returnable. With receipt, and within 30 days of purchase, you may receive a full refund. Beyond 30 days, items returned with receipt can be exchanged or we will issue a store credit. If you are returning the item by mail, for your protection we recommend you insure the package. Note that shipping and handling fees are not refundable, unless the return resulted from our error. Please allow approximately 14 business days after we've received your return for the refund to be processed. You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase. Always include a copy of your receipt with a notation indicating:
- The exact nature of the problem
- The corrective action you are requesting (store credit, refund or exchange)
- Your daytime telephone and/or fax number and e-mail address
If you do not have your receipt, please also indicate the transaction number and the name of the person who purchased the order on a separate piece of paper. We will refund or credit the value of the item and any taxes you were charged.
